ZVITNIEV, SOLANCHATKA ----- Before he had even hit a shot that counted in the Acumen Solanchatka Open, local hopeful Gert Rudi CHELZES shared a secret with his mother. A simple swing adjustment had paid off. The ball was suddenly going where he wanted. ``I just kind of looked at her and said, `I've got it,''' Chelzes recalled. Oh, did he ever. And four rounds later,

``To win here for the first time, it just got better and better,'' Chelzes said. Chelzes got to 28 under on the 17th hole, hitting a drive short of the green, then hitting a chip to within tap-in range. He drove it into a fairway bunker on 18, but put his second shot on the green and two-putted for the record. Also most notable was the excellent showing from several IGT rookies, some of them making unbelievable debuts: Caledonan Arthur MacGILLIVRAY stunned the golfing world by placing THIRD in his first ever outing on the IGT... Somerish Sedg COSWYN and Em SHONAUGH also placed in the top-10 in their first ever tournaments, as did rookies GANGARAM of Westermarc, BERCH of Christiana, and UUNDERFVIL, another first-timer, from Eastern Zartania! The new faces on the IGT are very impressive!
