Match commentary:

Draconia crushes the Banana Warriors, who have other things on their
minds!

Draconia had no scruples to capitalize in this match against a heavily
distracted IWK team today.  The otherwise spirited Banana Warriors
definitely seemed with their thoughts far away in this match, after the
Ordlandic insinuations of a possible invasion earlier today, despite
which, they still continued on with this game.

Draconia was once again impressive, and scored their second high-goal
match in succession, both of which are just after they had re-entered
the international soccer scene after a long absence due to the volcanic
cataclysm.  They made short work of the distracted IWK team, and coolly
took full advantage.  By the 23. minute, they were up 2-0, and they
never looked back.  For a new team, the 4-0 against UPRMI, and now the
5-0 against IWK, both of which teams are not exactly blow-over
opponents, and have had much more international experience, were most
impressive, and one must wonder how Draconia was able to so quickly
improve upon the rather dismal squad they used to field when the nation
was still labelled "Elmira".

In any event, this most impressive win is bound to further move the
Pirates up the IVEFA ladder (to be updated tomorrow) significantly.
Draconia appears more than ready to take on more distinguished opponents
than UPRMI and IWK.  It remains to be seen, however, how they fare away
from home.  Standouts in the match once again were Reversi and Mirren,
and Gherry on the defensive side.  For IWK, no particular player managed
to impress terribly today.  IWK now ends their Longerath trip, in which
they had hoped to play a few more matches, and head home to mind more
important matters.  We hope they will be back with a vengeance soon!

Draconia is next scheduled to play the also emerging Brolecian team in a
high-security match in Liston on Saturday!  That should be a real good
battle.
