Match commentary:

Brolecia steals the glory as they win on the road!

A new chapter for Caboteniasa, as well as Brolecia, as these two
emerging nations meet for the first time - for Caboteniasa the first
EVER match after their separation from the FCLR, and they hoped for a
fresh start.  After all, the FCLR did not exactly have a history of
glory, and with Morol and Linitencatoriel, who now returned to
Caboteniasa after his brief stint in the IWK team (he is married to a
girl from IWK, and holds dual citizenships), are both back, the only
ones who used to play for the FCLR team.  For Brolecia, this is the
first game in a series of away matches, that will have them circle the
globe.

Both teams began very nerveaous, and nobody seemed to be willing to take
too many chances.  A careful feeling out of the opponent lasted about
the first 30 minutes.  After some spectators began to whistle, the home
team finally took heart, and went on the offensive.  With their relative
inexperience playing together, however, they could not make an effective
push on goal, and actually had very little chances to score
nevertheless.  Thus, the spectators got a little weary going into the
halftime break.

Fortunately, after the break, the game turned 180 degrees.  Both teams
had made some substitutions, and apparently now, both were going for the
win, no doubt after a respective lashing from their coaches!

Caboteniasa really controlled the ball well in the first 20 minutes, and
Brolecia had their hands full to keep the game scoreless.  The momentum
completely disappeared, however, as Brolecia all of a sudden scored in a
very quick counter, that saw Grenzer break through, and hand off to
Captain Ozi, who, despite an unsuccessful foul attempt, managed to
overrun the somewhat stunned Caboteniasan defense, and blast the ball
into the net as a low bouncing screamer.

This pretty much took the air out of the home team, who had been so
close to scoring themselves.  And it essentially took the air out of the
game as well, as the hosts were too shaken to attack with the same
panache than they had before, and the Brolecian team began to play to
protect their lead - thus, the rest of the game was not so inspiring,
and even the addition of Sällinnen on the Caboteniasan side was not
enough to spice things up.  The game ended quietly with Brolecia taking
a clever 1-0 away victory, despite the probably better overall
performance from Caboteniasa.  That is how the game goes sometimes!

Brolecia will travel on to meet Bowdani next, before departing for the
UPRMI.  Caboteniasa has no further games scheduled at this time.
